The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Resort Manager to lead operations at our stunning Wanaka property. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a resort, build a high-performing team and create exceptional experiences for our owners and guests in one of New Zealand’s most spectacular destinations.

How You’ll Shine

In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for the resort’s overall performance and day-to-day operations. You will lead across all departments, drive strong operational and financial outcomes, and foster a welcoming, service-led culture that reflects our brand.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading daily resort operations across front office, housekeeping, maintenance and guest services

• Driving guest satisfaction and delivering consistently exceptional owner and guest experiences

• Managing budgets, financial performance and operational KPIs

• Building, leading and developing an engaged, high-performing team

• Partnering with regional and corporate teams to implement business initiatives and improvements

• Maintaining strong relationships with owners, local partners and key stakeholders

• Ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and New Zealand regulatory requirements

• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and overall resort performance

What You’ll Bring

• Proven leadership experience within hotel or resort operations

• Strong operational knowledge across key accommodation departments

• Experience managing budgets, financial performance and reporting

• A confident, people-first leadership style and the ability to build engaged teams

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

• A practical, hands-on approach and genuine passion for hospitality

• Knowledge of New Zealand health and safety and hospitality requirements would be advantageous
