Overview

The Resident Engineer / Construction Manager will lead the supervision and delivery of large-scale, iconic, and technically complex building projects across the UAE. This role requires extensive experience in the construction and completion of luxury hotels, airports, landmark developments, museums, art galleries, cultural facilities, and other prestigious mixed-use projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, technical excellence, and timely project delivery. Particular emphasis is placed on expertise in architectural finishes, façade systems, cladding works, and the coordination of complex building interfaces.

Your role

• Lead and manage all site supervision and construction management activities for major landmark and high-profile developments.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved design documents, specifications, quality standards, budgets, and project schedules.
• Oversee the execution of complex architectural, structural, MEP, façade, cladding, and fit-out works.
• Provide technical leadership in the delivery of premium architectural finishes, specialist façade systems, curtain walling, cladding packages, and high-end interior fit-outs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, specialist subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives to achieve seamless project execution.
• Monitor construction progress, identify risks and constraints, and implement effective mitigation measures.
• Manage testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities to ensure successful project completion.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, authority requirements, health and safety standards, and project quality management systems.
• Lead regular progress meetings, technical reviews, and executive-level presentations for clients and senior stakeholders.
• Resolve complex technical and construction challenges associated with large-scale and architecturally significant projects.
• Act as the primary site representative and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, contractors, and government stakeholders.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in construction supervision and project delivery, with at least 8 years in the UAE or GCC region.
• Proven experience as a Resident Engineer or Construction Manager on large-scale landmark developments.
• Demonstrated track record delivering luxury hotels, airports, museums, art galleries, cultural facilities, iconic mixed-use developments, or other signature projects.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Architectural finishes and high-end fit-out works
  • Façade engineering and curtain wall systems
  • Cladding systems and external envelope works
  • Structural steel and complex building interfaces
  • Building services integration and coordination
• Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams on projects valued at AED 500M+ or equivalent large-scale developments.
• Strong understanding of UAE building regulations, authority approvals, and construction practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Professional Engineer registration and relevant certifications will be an advantage.
