Function:

Performs various duties in the Bank's Operations- Research area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assumes direct responsibility for performing the following duties as scheduled:

• Review the following:

  • Use of TRIPS system to complete daily review of High Dollar

    • Verify signature on check matches signature card.

    • Dollar amount is properly encoded.

    • Date is legitimate.

    • Check is properly endorsed.

  • Use of TRIPS system to complete daily review of Dormant accounts.

    • Verify signature on check matches signature card.

    • Verify deposit entries to dormant account check/cash.

    • Identify why account was removed from dormant.

• Review and validate daily special reports.

• Completion of Research as requested:

  • SRM Workflow Research Requests

  • Including items from prior acquisitions

  • Search warrants- Subpoenas

  • Third party Request

• Completion of Adjustments as requested:

  • SRM Workflow Adjustment Requests

  • Correspondent Bank Adjustments

    • JP Morgan

    • Federal Reserve

    • First Commonwealth

    • BNY Mellon

• Entry and maintenance of research/adjustment data into appropriate spreadsheets

• Maintain a good working relationship with bank employees. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.

• Aids other Research Specialists

• Involved in compiling data for the monthly productivity report.

• Performs additional duties as required.

Education:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.

Experience:

Requires up to one-year general experience.

Physical Demands:

Operates a keypad device, operates electronic equipment, and operates office equipment throughout the day. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. Use of manual dexterity skills for typing, and data entry up to 75% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”-20” and depth perception for computer work. Frequent uses of extremities to stand, reach, kneel, or bend throughout an eight-hour shift. Offered rates and salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on experience, education, and evidenced position specific skill requirements.

For roles that are incentive eligible, payment is based upon the plan document and company, business, and/or individual performance.
