Our team is collectively redefining and modernizing the way our clients harness consumer and cultural intelligence, develop relevance strategies, and plan for attention. You won't be writing 80-page decks that sit on a shelf. You will be the signals engine that translates real-time human behavior into business growth.

We are in the know on consumer relevance, what’s emerging (trends, conversations, influencers, new competitors, vernacular, how it’s all showing up on platforms), and have an intuitive sense for how to authentically use these signals as meaningful, actionable inputs for social content. 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Mine, prioritize, and translate signals every day—advising on hard working/emerging strategies in social for underpriced attention; what to pay attention to
• Decode social trends, subcultures, movements in culture at large, among specific audiences and in specific verticals – with distinct focus on things emerging and shaping culture to ensure work is resonating with more audiences 
• First to know about any updates platforms roll-out and how they affect the work and/or open up opportunities for the brand; can go very deep, in journalistic fashion, into specific culture niche segments to surface relevant insights 
• Own any breaking news alerts / real-time opportunities ad hoc
• Listen, mine comments to uncover opportunities and identify the patterns and multiple ways in that speak the language of the consumers
• Conduct social listening and content audits. Understand and leverage various native platforms, research, and data tools to bring consumers to life in inspiring ways for creatives to ideate. 
• Analyze in-market creative and collaborate with the creative team to drive real-time optimizations based in in-market creative performance data – helping teams analyze, ideate, and make effective content and understand the post-mortem performance dynamics
• Begin to participate in the briefing of strategy and creative teams presenting insights deliverables with little oversight
• Develop and deliver cohesive analyses and presentations, both internally and externally 
• Supports strategy leads with the relevant and necessary insights required for their strategic planning and deliverables for creative, communications and attention strategies.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

• 1-3 years of experience in social listening and syndicated data for analysis, research design, strategic insights development.
• High level of curiosity to go deep on context and nuances, subcultures and specific niche topics. 
• Promising ability to think strategically, with a balanced analytical and creative approach.
• Familiarity reviewing qualitative and quantitative research plus behavioral data to surface and interpret distinctive and differentiating insights.
• Collaborative and able to work with different disciplines, internal and external to achieve desired outcomes. 
• Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative in identifying opportunities, discerning a clear path forward and acting upon them swiftly
