About You
- Registered Veterinary Technicians preferred, but will consider unlicensed techs
- 2+ years working in a veterinary clinic
- Emergency or specialty experience a plus
- Reliable, organized, and committed to providing high-level patient and client care
Experience
- Venipuncture, catheter placement, and diagnostic sample collection
- Anesthesia monitoring, sedation, and procedures
- Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy
- Medication calculation and administration (IV, IM, SQ)
- Diagnostic imaging assistance (radiographs, ultrasound support)
- Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate nursing care
- Surgical prep, sterile technique, and instrument handling
- Patient monitoring and pain scoring, with trend recognition
Compensation
- Base Pay: $34.00-$45.00/hour
- Pay depends on experience, whether you are licensed/unlicensed, and differentials
- Differentials: $3.00/hour weekends, $4.00/hour for overnights
- Registered Veterinary Technicians eligible for $4,000 sign-on bonus
- Oncology, Ophthalmology, Surgery/Anesthesia eligible for a $6,000 sign-on bonus
- Surgery Technicians On-Call Extras
- $200 for being on-call, plus an additional $300 for coming in
- Eligible for differentials and overtime
