We’re offering an exciting part-time, permanent opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Sunshine Coast nursing team, working across our Buderim and Noosa clinics.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centred cancer care. You’ll work closely with experienced Nurses, Radiation Therapists, Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists and Allied Health professionals to provide coordinated care and an exceptional patient experience.

What you’ll be doing
Delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate nursing care to patients receiving cancer treatment.
Working across Buderim and Noosa, supporting the nursing teams and patient needs at both locations.
Completing comprehensive nursing assessments and developing and evaluating patient care plans.
Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey and providing education to patients and their carers.
Working collaboratively with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, Medical Physicists, Nurses and Allied Health professionals.
Recognising and responding appropriately to changes in a patient’s clinical condition.
Administering medications and treatments in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation.
Confidently using electronic clinical and prescribing systems.
Supporting the delivery of safe and effective clinical workflows.
Contributing to quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives.
Supporting education and professional development within the nursing team.
Building positive relationships with patients, carers, colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Supporting GenesisCare initiatives that improve patient experience, quality and efficiency.
Participating in rostered shifts, including occasional late shifts up to 9.00pm, as required.
Demonstrating flexibility to work across both Sunshine Coast locations according to service requirements.
What you’ll bring
Current registration as a Nurse with AHPRA.
Demonstrated clinical nursing experience.
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines and standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice, including the NSQHS.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to the wider nursing team.
Flexibility to work across Buderim and Noosa and undertake late shifts.
Desirable
Experience in oncology or radiation oncology nursing.
Postgraduate qualifications in oncology or a related area.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary cancer care environment.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
