Job Description Summary
Provides evidence-based nutrition care and education to patients participating in nutrition education and weight management programs. Conducts comprehensive nutrition assessments, provides individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy, develops patient-centered nutrition interventions, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to address weight management, cardiometabolic risk, and sustainable health behaviors through virtual care.Registered Dietitian performs a range of clinical assignments under general supervision, applying working knowledge and growing experience to recognize patterns and identify when senior consultation is needed. Decisions are made within established protocols and involve non-complex to moderately complex clinical situations. This job broadens clinical capabilities across routine case types and strengthens judgment through increasing experience in the discipline.
How will you make an impact & Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients with diverse nutritional needs, including weight management, cardiometabolic risk reduction, and lifestyle-related health concerns, using evidence-based nutrition practices.
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition prescriptions, interventions, and care plans that reflect patient health needs, cultural considerations, preferences, and achievable wellness goals.
- Deliver individual and group nutrition education using motivational interviewing, empathetic listening, and evidence-based counseling strategies to promote sustainable behavior change and active patient participation in care.
- Support patients participating in structured weight management programs, including patients using GLP-1 and other weight management medications, by providing nutrition strategies that promote appropriate intake, healthy behavior change, and sustained outcomes.
- Collaborate with primary care providers, RN care managers, health coaches, behavioral health clinicians, and other care team members to coordinate nutrition recommendations, monitor progress, and adjust nutrition plans based on patient needs and outcomes.
- Document nutrition assessments, interventions, patient goals, education, and follow-up activity accurately and timely in the electronic health record, and engage patients through telephone, video, and portal-based communication.
- Contribute clinical nutrition expertise to program and quality improvement activities by developing and updating patient education materials and provider job aids, participating in team and onboarding activities, and delivering nutrition-related presentations as assigned.

$29.28to
$43.92
The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
