ABOUT TOPGOLF

Topgolf is a sports entertainment company that has changed how millions of people experience golf and where you can build a serious career. Our venues are high-energy, high-volume environments where performance matters and results are visible. Every day, we bring together golf, food and beverages, events, and entertainment into one experience that keeps guests coming back.

WHAT WE’RE SEEKING

Are you the kind of leader who sees the full market, not just the venue in front of you? Do you think in terms of revenue, margin, talent, and long-term growth across multiple locations? Are you comfortable owning results for an entire region and holding senior leaders accountable for theirs?

We are looking for a Regional Director who operates as an owner of the market. Someone who builds and coaches leaders, drives performance across every venue in the portfolio, and takes full responsibility for the success of the region. This role is not about maintaining standards. It is about setting them, raising them, and making them consistent from venue to venue.

If you want to run a business across a market, not just oversee a single location; this is where you do it.

Location Requirement: Must be located in, or willing to relocate to, the Florida market.

THE ROLE

The Regional Director is the senior operating leader for an assigned group of venues in the Florida market and owns the full regional business. This includes revenue growth, cost management, talent development, and the overall guest experience across golf, food and beverage, and events in every venue in the region.

You will set the direction for the region, build and develop the leadership teams that run each venue, and drive performance through the General Managers and Venue Directors of Operations who report into the market. You are the connection between enterprise priorities and day-to-day execution on the floor.

This role operates with autonomy and expects accountability. As the leader of multiple high-energy, guest-facing venues, this role requires frequent travel across the assigned Florida market, typically spending the majority of your time on-site in venues, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with availability during peak periods, special events, and high-volume seasons.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

OWN THE REGIONAL BUSINESS

Take full ownership of regional performance including revenue, labor, costs, and overall profitability across every venue in the market

Demonstrate strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into strategies that protect and grow the business

Build and execute the annual regional operating plan with clear financial targets and priorities for each venue

Review venue P&Ls with intention, coaching leaders to understand how each part of the business contributes to results

Forecast, identify trends early, and act decisively to close gaps and capitalize on opportunities across the portfolio

Drive new revenue through partnerships, events, and local market opportunities, and share best practices across venues

Lead and Coach Venue Leadership

Provide strategic direction, clear communication, training, and empowerment to General Managers and Venue Directors of Operations to align with sales goals, service excellence, and brand standards

Coach leaders in person and in the moment, building their capability to run their venues independently

Establish a regular cadence of communication, business reviews, and follow-up that keeps every venue aligned and accountable

Address performance directly and maintain a high bar for every leader in the region

Elevate Hospitality and Guest Experience

Travel frequently to assigned venues to observe operations, provide in-person coaching, and ensure consistent hospitality delivery

Set the standard for a consistent, high-quality experience across all guest occasions in every venue

Recognize and celebrate strong performance, and turn what works in one venue into the standard for all

Use guest feedback and operational data to continuously improve the experience across the region

Stay visible in the venues and lead from the floor

Build Talent and Succession

Build and sustain a strong, diverse leadership pipeline through succession planning and development initiatives

Hire, develop, and retain a strong leadership team in each venue that can operate independently

Establish goals, monitor progress, and conduct regular performance and development reviews with direct reports

Create a culture where people are engaged, respected, and held accountable

Partner Across the Enterprise

Partner with cross-functional teams including Finance, People, Marketing, Sales, Culinary, and Facilities to support enterprise initiatives and shared priorities

Serve as the voice of the region, bringing venue and market insights to enterprise leadership

Lead the rollout and adoption of new programs, standards, and initiatives across the market

Represent the Brand

Build relationships in the Florida market with businesses, community leaders, and partners

Position each venue as a destination in its community

Support events, partnerships, and activations that grow awareness and revenue

Ensure Compliance and Safety

Ensure every venue maintains a safe and compliant environment for all guests and associates

Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, including alcohol service and food safety standards

Build a culture where safety and compliance are part of daily operations, and verify it through venue visits and audits

HOW YOUR TIME IS SPENT

The Regional Director role is built around being present in the venues. The approximate focus of the role is:

  • Venue Oversight & Hospitality Coaching (30%): Travel frequently to assigned venues to observe operations, provide in-person coaching, recognize strong performance, and ensure consistent hospitality delivery
  • Operational Leadership (20%): Provide strategic direction, communication, training, and empowerment to venue leaders to ensure alignment with sales goals, service excellence, and brand standards
