Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive market development strategy: Translate European and regional priorities into targeted local marketing plans, identifying high-potential customer segments, applications, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with sales to accelerate growth: Work alongside commercial teams to strengthen customer engagement, develop compelling value propositions, and generate qualified opportunities.
  • Execute impactful marketing campaigns: Adapt and deliver integrated campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives tailored to local market needs.
  • Build scientific and customer relationships: Engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinical stakeholders, and influential customers to support education, advocacy, and adoption of clinical NGS solutions.
  • Create meaningful customer experiences: Plan and execute webinars, scientific meetings, workshops, congress activities, and peer-to-peer programs that drive awareness and demand.
  • Turn market insights into action: Monitor customer needs, competitive developments, and market trends to identify opportunities and continuously improve commercial activities.
  • Measure and optimize performance: Track campaign effectiveness, lead generation, pipeline contribution, and return on marketing investment to maximize business impact.

What to expect:

  • A high-impact, field-oriented marketing role with strong visibility across sales, marketing, and regional commercial leadership.
  • Close collaboration with sales teams through customer visits, account planning, field coaching, and targeted demand-generation activities.
  • Opportunities to work with clinical experts, scientific societies, and influential customers in the evolving field of precision medicine.
  • Responsibility for translating customer and market insights into practical commercial initiatives.
  • Ownership of marketing activities from planning and execution through performance evaluation and optimization.
  • A dynamic, international environment where collaboration, initiative, and commercial creativity are valued.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • A degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Marketing, Business, or a related field is advantageous.

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in market development, commercial marketing, product marketing, or a comparable customer-facing commercial role.
  • Experience working closely with sales teams to develop demand, engage customers, and support business growth.
  • Experience in life sciences, molecular diagnostics, clinical genomics, or related healthcare markets is highly desirable.
  • Experience delivering marketing campaigns, customer events, or commercial programs and evaluating their impact.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage sales teams, scientific stakeholders, and customers.
  • Ability to develop compelling customer value propositions and communicate complex scientific solutions clearly.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project-management skills, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across functions and countries.
  • Fluent business English and German are non negotiable; additional relevant European languages are an advantage.
