ABOUT THIS POSITION
Digital Extremes is seeking an energetic, highly organized Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this dual-impact role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our Co-Op & Internship Program—serving as the primary connector and community builder for student cohorts to ensure they are fully integrated into studio culture. Simultaneously, you will assist the Recruitment Manager with core recruitment operations.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in an evolving environment. You will have the autonomy to drive programs forward while collaborating closely with a supportive HR team. You must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced game studio or high-tech environment where priorities evolve rapidly—demanding the ability to pivot on a dime while maintaining peak execution, taking constructive feedback in stride, and delivering immediate and measurable impact!.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with active studio requisitions by screening applications, proactively sourcing top talent, and conducting thorough initial screen calls across discipline pipelines.
- Maintain high data standards within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), manage active candidate stages, and deliver clear metrics on pipeline health.
- Drive interview scheduling, candidate communications, and hiring team debriefs to deliver an efficient, high-touch candidate experience.
- Support studio recruitment branding initiatives, campus outreach, and LinkedIn campaigns highlighting life at Digital Extremes
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, mid/end-of-term check-ins, and exit interviews to deliver a best-in-class student experience.
- Facilitate co-op meetups, peer support networks, and social connections so students build strong relationships and feel integrated from day one.
- Act as the central contact for students, team leads, and hiring managers—facilitating continuous feedback loops and resolving operational friction quickly.
- Manage relationships with university and college co-op offices, represent the studio at career fairs, and host studio presentations.
- Track student growth to build a reliable talent pipeline for future opportunities
- Support the Recruitment Manager and the Director, HR with any HR projects or administrative tasks as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of total HR/Recruitment experience, with exposure to campus recruitment, tech/gaming, and generalist HR operations.
- Deep expertise with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse/Dayforce), LinkedIn Recruiter, and workspace tools (Google Workspace, Slack, MS Office).
- Proven ability to operate with high autonomy, adapt to shifting studio priorities on a dime, and execute with precision under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated expertise in generating, interpreting, and presenting recruitment analytics and reporting using Dayforce and Greenhouse or similar platforms.
- Energetic interpersonal skills paired with strong group facilitation and presentation skills.

The final compensation offered may vary based on a variety of factors, including bonuses and/or incentives, or a candidate’s experience, skills, budget and location. Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 CAD
