Receiving Equipment Operator - New Rate - $21 per hour
The Receiving Equipment Operator is responsible for accurately putting away product in the designated locations throughout the Distribution Center. The operators utilize a cherry picker style lift and RF scanners in order to successfully complete their duties.
All positions with Bob’s Discount Furniture are physical in nature!! So, you can forget that gym membership – You will be getting a great workout here! We have great physical Trainers and Medical professionals on-site to aid you in your time working here!
What Will You Be Doing?
Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40ft. in the air.
Utilize RF scanners in order to identify and locate product.
Load staged product from dock area onto cherry picker lift.
Move product from lift into proper location on the storage racks.
Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals
Contribute to a company culture that champions honesty, integrity, diversity, and community
All other duties as assigned (we’re a team here!)
What we are looking for: ·
High School or equivalent work experience ·
Must have experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment. ·
Comfortable with heights up to 40ft. in the air. ·
Must be able to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the department, which includes availability for weekends ·
Must be able to pass physical assessment with a push or pull requirement up to 250 lbs.
