Schedule:
- 32 hours/per week consisting of:
- 6 hour shifts (4 pm to 10 pm (Closing time)) - 4 days per week
- 8 hour shifts (2 pm to 10 pm (Closing time)) - 1 day per week
- Every 4th weekend (8 hour shift), call, and holiday rotation required
Job Description Summary:
Job Description:
- Prepares pediatric patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operates radiologic equipment to capture images of pediatric patients' internal organs and structures.
- Reviews images to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintains accurate patient records and ensures patient confidentiality.
- Collaborates other healthcare professionals to coordinate proper patient care.
- Maintains and updates knowledge of radiologic technology and safety procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Education Requirement:
Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.
Licensure Requirement:
- Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required.
- Valid “R” category Ohio Radiological License, required.
Certifications:
CPR certification, required.
Skills:
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience:
- One year of clinical experience in the Radiological Sciences, required.
- Experience in pediatric setting, preferred.
