Job requirements
Experience Range: 1 to 3 years of experience, including hands-on expertise in Python scripting and mobile application test automation for both iOS and Android platforms Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms using Python and AppiumBuild and enhance regression automation suites to ensure comprehensive coverage of critical mobile functionalitiesIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing and enable rapid deployment cyclesCollaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and optimize quality processesExecute automated and manual tests, analyze test results, and identify defects to ensure high-quality releasesUtilize tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Zephyr to manage test data, validate APIs, and track testing progressImplement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies to improve test effectiveness and maintainabilityTroubleshoot automation failures, optimize test scripts, and provide actionable feedback to enhance system performanceRequired Skills:
Proficiency in Python scripting for test automationHands-on experience with Appium for mobile test automationExperience in automating tests for iOS and Android applicationsRegression suite development and maintenanceIntegration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesAPI testing with Postman and SoapUIBehavior Driven Development (BDD) with CucumberTest Driven Development (TDD) practicesTest case and defect management using ZephyrPreferred Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Android Studio for mobile application testingExperience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner for mobile applicationsFamiliarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce LabsKnowledge of security testing methodologies for mobile applicationsExperience with accessibility testing for mobile platformsDesired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related disciplineCertified Software Test Engineer (CSTE) or ISTQB Foundation Level certificationCertification in Mobile Application Testing or Automation Tools such as Appium
