Job Responsibility

You are responsible in determining the quality of every production batches manufactured in the plant. We ask that you will be discipline in maintaining the outmost integrity in evaluating the result of the production batches objectively through the standard test in the product. EHS and 5S compliance are mandatory to ensure personnel safety and maintain plant standards. You will be reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Main Responsibilities

1. Promote a safe working environment by following EHS policies and reporting safety observations, near-misses, and hazards promptly.

2.Promotes and shows a culture of quality through communication, awareness activities and action on the Indicators dashboard.

3.Ensure all the departmental procedure is follow and update the process flow.

4. Coordinate and support new product development activity related to product Quality.

5. To perform investigation with team on customer complaint, SSPL and return goods.

6. Work with manager, co-worker and technical to resolve the product quality issue.

7. Work with technical for formula optimization and process improvement.

8. Lead the new product management and hand over process.

9. Raise the internal NC to related section if there are any abnormality observed.

10. Weekly or monthly quality related reporting.

11. To track First Time Quality (FTQ) and perform RCA on low FTQ test method.

12. Monitor in-process rejection by defect type.

13. Improve productivity by develop plans to eliminate the non-value added test.

14. Maintain good 5S and EHS compliance in the work area

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in the paint, coatings, chemicals, or related manufacturing industry.

• Fresh graduates with relevant internship, laboratory, or industrial project experience are encouraged to apply.

• Speak English and Malay.

• Experience with quality systems, manufacturing processes, and product quality requirements.

• Troubleshoot, and problem-solving skills.

• Committed to continuous improvement.

• Collaborate across departments and influence partners.

• Experience conducting quality audits and supporting compliance activities.

•  Familiarity with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent.
