Job Title: QC Analyst II - Microbial Control

Location: Portsmouth, NH

As a QC Analyst II, Microbial Control, you will play an important role in supporting the release of life-changing therapies by performing quality testing that ensures product safety, quality, and compliance. This position offers the opportunity to work in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute directly to manufacturing operations and customer programs.

This is a fully site-based role with a 10 hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday - Wednesday. Includes weekend pay differential.

What you will do:

• Perform microbiological testing to support in-process, lot release, and stability programs
• Support utility, environmental monitoring, and cleanroom testing activities
• Review laboratory results to ensure data accuracy, quality, and compliance
• Document testing activities using laboratory systems and GMP documentation practices
• Investigate atypical results and support corrective actions as needed
• Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, and site teams to support operational goals
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

What we are looking for:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience
• Experience working in a Quality Control laboratory or GMP-regulated environment
• Knowledge of microbiological testing techniques and laboratory practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple responsibilities
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
