As Purchasing Manager for Social Brand Building, you will develop value-driven sourcing strategies, lead negotiations and contract management, and use market and performance insights to identify opportunities. You will manage a high-performing agency and supplier ecosystem, partner with Brand, Finance, Legal, and Operations to enable successful campaigns, ensure compliance, and drive scalable solutions, innovation, and measurable long-term business results.
💶 Yearly gross starting salary: 40.040 EUR - this represents the starting salary for the role. We also recognize relevant experience and offer additional compensation accordingly. We consistently benchmark our salaries against top competitors and every P&G employee’s salary is reviewed at least annually so there is ample room for growth.
As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing and contract governance for social marketing and agency partnerships, ensuring alignment with purchasing strategies, compliance, and best total value.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external business partners to coordinate sourcing activities, manage statements of work and purchase orders, and ensure seamless, compliant campaign execution.
- Define and execute data-driven sourcing strategies, lead complex negotiations and supplier selection, and deliver total value creation through market analysis, cost modelling, and disciplined operational compliance.
- Own the full contract lifecycle—from drafting and negotiation to execution and compliance—while managing and improving agency and external partner performance across social marketing engagements.
- Develop and scale sourcing solutions, build cross-functional partnerships, and identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency, enable campaign execution, and strengthen P&G’s position in the creator economy.
- Deliver excellent business results through rigorous execution, data-driven decision-making, disciplined compliance, and strategic relationship management to drive performance and value creation.
- Leverage a strong understanding of the social media, influencer, and creator ecosystem and cost models to shape sourcing strategies, evaluate agency and content creators capabilities, manage commercial models and enable compliant, effective creator partnerships.
Job Qualifications
Our ideal candidate profile:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Industrial engineering (a background in Marketing is a plus).
- Fluent business Greek and English proficiency (verbal and written).
- Completed/Exempt from Military Service Requirements (if applicable).
- Relevant indirect procurement experience, particularly sourcing intangible services, with knowledge of the creator economy, social media, influencer marketing, agency models, and platform dynamics can represent an advantage.
- Understanding of digital risk management, including brand safety, data privacy (GDPR), and advertising standards.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, including market analysis, cost modelling, savings tracking, business-case development, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across multifunctional teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated operational resilience and ability to drive processes effectively in complex environments.
