Our Civil Group in Austin, TX, is looking to add an experienced Mechanical Project Superintendent to its team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations for water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects.
- Supervise self-perform crews and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors.
- Plan and sequence work activities, manpower, materials, and site logistics.
- Oversee utility installations, process piping, mechanical systems, and equipment setting.
- Ensure compliance with project procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards.
- Monitor production, maintain project schedules, and document daily field activities.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to support field execution.
- Support startup, testing, punch list, and project closeout activities.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction leadership experience required.
- Experience with water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects required.
- Experience with utility work, process piping, mechanical installations, and equipment setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.
- OSHA 30 certification and Procore experience preferred.
