Job Description:

• POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting project site equipment maintenance through efficient parts management, inventory control, shipping and receiving activities, and transportation. 

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide parts support to the field mechanic and job site
  • Manage parts inventory and maintain accurate inventory records at the job site.
  • Pull requested parts from inventory and issue parts to mechanics and project teams.
  • Receive, inspect, unload and stock incoming parts, materials, and supplies
  • Coordinate and expediate shipping and receiving activities to meet project and maintenance schedules.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle/truck to transport parts between company locations, project sites, and vendor facilities as needed.
  • Communicate with vendors, mechanics, project personnel, and internal customers regarding parts availability and delivery timelines.
  • Keep work area clean and presentable
  • Answer and make phone calls that deal with parts orders
  • Inform Parts Manager of any parts issues

• EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of parts and/or equipment knowledge
