What will you do?  

As a Project Manager for eCommerce Deployments, you will lead deployment initiatives supporting Parts.cat.com and partner closely with eCommerce Engineering teams to integrate Parts.cat.com to local dealer systems in new markets. This role is responsible for coordinating directly with dealers in the EAMEA region and Caterpillar eCommerce engineering teams to manage and clarify deployment activities and eCommerce configurations and communicate with stakeholders to ensure successful and timely integrations to deliver eCommerce capabilities. 

The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with the ability to manage complex cross-functional delivery efforts in a dynamic digital commerce environment. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Deployment & Release Management 
  • Lead end-to-end deployment planning with dealers and execution for Parts.cat.com capability requiring dealer integration or configuration. 
  • Develop and maintain deployment schedules, milestones, and implementation plans. 
  • Drive deployment readiness activities and release governance processes. 
  • Coordinate post-deployment validation. 
• Cross-Functional Project Leadership 
  • Partner closely with eCommerce Engineering, Caterpillar dealers, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and business stakeholders. 
  • Facilitate project planning, status reviews, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications. 
  • Ensure alignment of business priorities with delivery timelines. 
• Risk, Issue & Dependency Management 
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and dependencies. 
  • Drive issue resolution across multiple teams and stakeholders. 
  • Develop contingency plans to minimize business and customer impacts. 
• Project Controls & Reporting 
  • Monitor project health, schedule performance, and delivery milestones. 
  • Provide leadership updates on project status, risks, escalations, and outcomes. 
  • Support portfolio reporting and project governance activities. 
• Continuous Improvement 
  • Contribute to improving deployment processes, validation, and execution standards. 
  • Capture lessons learned and implement best practices to improve deployment predictability and quality. 
• This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital leadership in the US.  

What you have:   

• • IT Project Control and Reporting: Knowledge of project control and reporting; ability to monitor the vital signs of an IT project while managing its progress and delivery schedule. 
  • IT Project Management: Knowledge of project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources. 
  • Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects. 
  • Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan. 
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. 
  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company. 
  • IT Standards, Procedures & Policies: Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) standards and policies; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT policies, standards, and procedures. 
• Top Candidates will also have: 
  • Experience supporting digital commerce or customer-facing web platforms. 
  • Experience coordinating system integration and deployment activities. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • Experience working with Agile product and engineering teams. 
  • Ability to influence without direct authority. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or other project management certification is considered a plus.
