What will you do:
- Lead end-to-end project execution across software, embedded, firmware and hardware, from concept through commercialization and sustainment.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, Embedded Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Manufacturing, and Service teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Drive project planning, scheduling, resource management, risk mitigation, dependency tracking, and governance activities while ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Coordinate Agile and Hybrid development methodologies by facilitating planning activities, release planning, backlog reviews, milestone tracking, and cross-team dependency management.
- Establish and extend PMO best practices by continuously improving project management processes, reporting mechanisms, governance frameworks, and delivery metrics across the organization.
- Lead stakeholder communications and executive reporting by providing regular updates on project health, timelines, risks, budget, quality, and release readiness.
- Manage complex product development projects involving software, embedded systems, hardware platforms, and cloud-based solutions while ensuring collaboration across globally distributed teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, design control processes, risk management activities, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive successful product launches, release management activities, sustaining engineering initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts throughout the product lifecycle.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning across cross-functional teams.
What you need:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related technical discipline
- experience- 8 years - 11 years;
- Minimum 4+ years of experience leading complex software development projects and cross-functional engineering teams in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Hybrid environments.
- Strong understanding of project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, cost, resource, risk, stakeholder, and quality management.
- Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional collaboration across global teams and influencing stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to establish PMO governance frameworks, project metrics, portfolio reporting, and process excellence initiatives across multiple programs.
- Experience working in Medical Devices, Healthcare Technology, Life Sciences, or other highly regulated industries
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience leading New Product Development (NPD), product commercialization, sustaining engineering, and global product release programs.
- Working knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), embedded development processes, hardware development lifecycle, and hardware/software integration.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams and collaborating with global engineering, quality, regulatory, and business stakeholders.
