ABOUT THE JOB
The Program Integration Analyst supports critical decisions, strategic intent, and the flow of dependent actions across the major pillars of Anduril's Dive-XL organization. The role exists to:
- Ensure that the schedule the business line plans from is structurally sound and achievable
- Bust silos by driving and coordinating execution of interdependent actions and decisions (e.g. how do design changes impact the production and delivery schedule?)
- Ensure the program plan tools of record accurately reflect the state of work
- Capture leadership intent and support the development of briefing materials and the flow of information to key program stakeholders
- Support the wider Dive-XL PMO with execution and tracking
An indicative split of work is approximately: 50% integrated master schedule + cross-pillar integration and cadence alignment, 30% leadership intent, briefing materials and stakeholder information flow, and 20% wider PMO execution and tracking support.
Undersea Dominance is a rapidly evolving business line delivering to two navies against programs of record that are still taking shape. Tasking for this role will change as the program does, and the successful candidate should expect priorities to be re-set in response to customer commitments, capability milestones and organisational growth.
This is an integrator role, not an administrator. Supporting leadership and the wider PMO is a real part of the job, but the role is scoped around work it holds outright: building and operating a networked schedule, coordinating cross-pillar decisions, and applying technical judgment to plan validity on a program of this size is a transferable craft, and onboarding new pillars onto the standard requires judgement about how a team actually works.
It will suit a candidate who is precise, comfortable saying in a room of senior leaders that the schedule does not add up, and interested in sitting close to the decisions on a program of national significance. For those who want it, the role is also a route into an embedded technical program manager seat.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and operate the integrated master schedule for the Business Line, running the update cycle to a published calendar and keeping it aligned to the agile delivery cadence
- Turn leadership intent and tactical tasking into clear products, actions, owners and dates
- Develop and storyboard briefing packs for leadership, customer and stakeholder audiences, from blank page or whiteboard through to finished product
- Act as the integration partner to senior leads and the wider PMO on cross-pillar initiatives: help structure the problem, map dependencies, update the schedule and models, and prepare the decision
- Ingest scenario and change-impact inputs from Directors, TPMs and other subject matter experts, and maintain them in the tooling so that a design, configuration or supply decision can be traced through to production dates, engineering reviews and long-lead buys
- Capture every decision and action taken in a cross-pillar forum into the decision record the same working day, with a named owner and a firm date, and track them through to closure
- Keep risks documented and flagged early in the system of record, so that realised risk surfaces as soon as it emerges
- Own the currency of our central Action Centre custom tooling, which aggregates base data sources so that leadership forums read live systems of record
- Work laterally with cross-organizational Engineering directors, the Chief Engineer, Account Directors (AUS and US), Production, Supply Chain and Division Operations to keep schedule and record inputs flowing
- Partner with Division Operations and use Claude and other AI tools to continually improve and mature our program management, scheduling and estimating digital tools and processes
- Support the wider PMO with action tracking, governance cadence and execution follow-through
- Onboard each new pillar and each new program onto the program management standard
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- An existing security clearance (NV2 preferred) is highly preferred. Candidates without an existing clearance must be Australian citizens eligible to obtain a security clearance.
- Comfortable distilling and communicating complex information to senior leadership
- Familiar with Scaled Agile (SAFe), including PI planning, ARTs and the epic / feature / story hierarchy, and with how these link to a milestone-based IMS
- Working proficiency in Jira: boards, epics, dependencies, dashboards and reporting
- Strong written and visual communication, with examples of executive-level packs
- Credible with senior stakeholders and willing to say that the plan does not add up
- Comfortable using AI tools to vibe code, research, draft and build supporting products such as packs, briefs, analysis and schedule views, with judgement on accuracy and security
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Has built and run a networked integrated master schedule hands-on, including logic, critical path, baselining and health checks
- Defence or national security background, ideally RAN (for example Maritime Warfare, Engineering or Supply officer) or the intelligence community as an analyst or planner
- Consulting experience: MBB strategy, Big 4 or defence advisory
- SAFe certification, for example SAFe Agilist (SA), Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC)
- Exposure to maritime or uncrewed programs, CASG / ASDEFCON scheduling, or AUKUS Pillar II
- Experience with scheduling tools such as MS Project and/or Primavera P6, Jira for agile delivery tracking, advanced PowerPoint and Excel, SharePoint and M365, and AI assistants for building program products
