So, what's the role all about?
As a Professional Services Engineer, you will join a dynamic, customer-facing team responsible for implementing and delivering NICE Actimize Financial Crime Prevention solutions for leading global financial institutions. You will play a critical role in configuring, customizing, deploying, and supporting Actimize solutions across Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Payments Fraud, and Trading Compliance domains.
In this role, you will work closely with customers, business analysts, solution architects, and implementation teams to understand business requirements and deliver intelligent, scalable, and innovative solutions. You will gain exposure to complex regulatory compliance challenges while working with the market leader in Financial Crime and Compliance technology.
How will you make an impact?
Solution Development & Implementation
- Develop, configure, and customize product features according to solution designs and enterprise software standards.
- Implement and configure NICE Actimize applications for customer-specific requirements.
- Setup new environments and deploy solutions across development, testing, and production environments.
- Independently develop and deliver enterprise-grade software features and functionalities.
- Participate in solution design discussions and technical implementation planning.
Customer Support & Delivery
- Support customers by troubleshooting and resolving functional and technical issues.
- Work directly with customer stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with R&D, Professional Services, Customer Support, and other internal teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Participate in customer deployments and occasionally support customer engagements across different time zones.
Engineering Excellence & Innovation
- Develop utilities, tools, and automation solutions that improve delivery efficiency and operational scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and implementation practices.
- Maintain high-quality standards while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Have you got what it takes?
Required Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree with relevant practical experience.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in software implementation, customization, or enterprise application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience handling large-scale data volumes and complex database environments.
- Experience working with Oracle, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in global and matrix-based environments.
- Exposure to Unix/Linux environments and command-line operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical ability with a self-learning mindset.
- Ability to work independently and deliver complex assignments with minimal supervision.
- Experience developing secure, scalable, multi-user enterprise software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Pods, and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Previous experience in Professional Services, implementation, or customer-facing technical roles.
- Experience or knowledge of NICE Actimize platform development.
- Familiarity with enterprise application deployment and environment setup.
