Job Description
Join our manufacturing team as a Production Technician, where you'll play a key role in ensuring product quality through visual, dimensional, and functional inspections. Reporting to the Technical Specialist/Shift Leader, you will support daily production operations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting to keep manufacturing running smoothly.

What You'll Do
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on in-process products and first-piece manufacturing samples.
- Conduct in-house molding approval inspections and testing activities.
- Identify and communicate material or product discrepancies to the relevant manufacturing teams.
- Manage non-conforming products according to established quality procedures.
- Accurately document and maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
- Support lot traceability activities, filing, and retrieval of quality records.
- Oversee sorting and rework activities and ensure proper data collection and reporting.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Participate in quality improvement projects, data collection activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform evaluation testing according to approved protocols.
- Report quality incidents, deviations, near misses, and safety concerns in a timely manner.
- Support departmental initiatives such as Kaizen activities, safety programs, and environmental improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with GMP requirements, SOPs, company policies, and BD Code of Ethics.
Job Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level qualification or equivalent.
- Preferably at least 1 year of relevant quality inspection or manufacturing experience.
- Understanding basic statistical and quality control techniques.
- Skilled in using basic measuring instruments and inspection tools.
- Good attention to detail with strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with GMP practices is an advantage.
