The production associate may have responsibilities including manufacturing, assembly, basic testing, packaging, machine operations and shipping of transducers and probes to internal and external customers.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Performs manufacturing/assembly operations and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets.
- Maintains daily production output.
- Performs basic manufacturing/assembly/refurbishment operations.
- Complete basic troubleshooting
- Ensure manufacturing documentation is correct/current.
- Follows all EHS and Quality policies and procedures.
- Participates in quality control inspections when required.
- Works with team leaders, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams.
- Work with team to improve quality and reduce cycle time.
- Participate in 5S activities led by team lead/management.
- May assist with training peers when required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent.
- Ability to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed.
- Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details and quality-minded work habits.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work at assigned workstation.
- Maintain daily production output.
- Perform Job with guidance.
- Receive verbal instructions on duties.
- Read/follow procedures/schematics for standard operations.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
- Must be able to visually inspect machines.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds. (If over 35 lbs. requires assistance).
