We have an opportunity for a Product Marketing Specialist to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will support the development and execution of product‑line marketing activities that drive awareness, adoption, and meaningful customer engagement across the Pentair Pool business. In this role, you will bring product‑line strategies to life through high‑quality marketing assets, cross‑functional coordination, and launch execution support. Working closely with Product Line, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service you will ensure consistent positioning, channel readiness, and exceptional customer experience throughout the product lifecycle. This role will be aligned to a specific product line within the portfolio and is ideal for a skilled marketer who excels at translating product value into actionable GTM tactics.

You will:

Support Product‑Line Strategy & Execution

• Execute product‑line marketing plans aligned to go‑to‑market strategy, positioning, and customer journeys with cross-functional partners.
• Translate product requirements and category needs into actionable marketing deliverables and messaging.

Development & Manage Marketing Assets

• Guide, create, update, and maintain spec sheets, presentations, sales collateral, feature/benefit content, FAQs, videos, imagery, and more as needed during product lifecycle.
• Ensure all materials meet Pentair brand standards and support category strategies are aligned between marketing, product, sales, and legal.

Support Launch Readiness

• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and readiness materials to ensure successful product launches.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure sales, channel partners, and customer‑facing teams are prepared with the right tools and information.

Enable Category Storytelling & Content Excellence

• Conduct GTM research and competitive reviews, VOC synthesis, and product‑line content updates to support strong positioning and differentiation.
• Collaborate with Brand, Content, and Digital teams to deploy high‑quality storytelling across online and offline channels.

Support Sales, Channel, and Event Activities

• Assist with sampling, customer presentations, training content, and channel enablement materials.
• Support trade show storytelling, booth materials, and on‑site execution needs.

Ensure Digital Accuracy & Optimization

• Partner with digital teams to ensure product‑line content is accurate, optimized, and up‑to‑date across digital platforms.

Key Qualifications: 

• 3–5 years of experience in product marketing, marketing communications, brand management, or a related function.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to translate technical product information into customer‑friendly messaging and compelling content.
• Experience supporting product launches, commercialization processes, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Familiarity with content management systems, digital platforms, and project management tools.
• Analytical problem‑solver with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with digital asset systems is a plus.
• Travel up to 25%.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
