Our objective is to grow revenue, profitability and positive cash flow of the standard parts business by building a competitive product portfolio to fulfill the needs of our aerospace customers. We ensure that the market is serviced in an efficient way by building long term relationships with suppliers and customers as well as building the internal business model and processes to achieve this.

What the job is...

As the Product Manager for Standard Parts, you will serve as the primary global representative for standard parts, providing strategic direction and guidance to key stakeholders.

Based in Copenhagen, this role forms an integral part of the global product management team overseeing the standard parts product line (encompassing C&E, hardware, fasteners, consumables, and raw materials). Collaborating closely across all relevant functional areas within the Satair Standard Parts network, you will actively drive business operations—leading continuous improvement efforts, gathering market intelligence, implementing business processes, and overseeing fulfillment support.

The Standard Parts Product Line is entering into a phase made of strong ramp up combined with an important challenge on our competitiveness. The Jobholder will have the great opportunity to shape and lead this role in the Customer Service organization.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Product Strategy & Roadmap Execution

  • Develop and execute end-to-end commodity product strategies, aligning business goals with evolving market demands and customer needs.

  • Define and drive cross-functional solutions and process integrations, serving as the subject matter expert to ensure product readiness and operational excellence.

Operational Efficiency & Performance Management

  • Analyze performance data to drive revenue and profitability targets; champion continuous improvement and automation efforts..

  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve critical issues and optimize the end-to-end value chain.

  • Operational rigor through Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

Product & Industry Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of the Commercial Aviation Aftermarket supply chain.

  • Dedication to acquiring and maintaining deep technical product/commodity knowledge.

Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

  • Collaborative, 'out-of-silo' mindset with the ability to bridge cross-functional interests.

  • High degree of autonomy, self-discipline, and professional English proficiency.

Academic/Professional Background

  • University Degree (Engineering, Commercial, or equivalent) or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience within the aviation aftersales industry, preferably in distribution business, MRO, or aftermarket sales/product management

Travel required: 

  • This role will require regular travel worldwide, and as such you need to be able to travel accordingly
