About the Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded Product Manager to take ownership of key brands in the Darbi product range across NZ. Based in Auckland, you’ll manage the product lifecycle from supplier sourcing and range planning through to pricing, catalogue management and discontinuation. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Warehouse and supplier partners, you’ll identify market opportunities, respond to customer needs and help deliver strong range, availability and margin performance.

Duties Include

• Own and develop key brands with the product range to meet customer and market needs.
• Manage supplier relationships, including sourcing, negotiations and pricing.
• Lead the product lifecycle, from range planning and new product launches through to discontinuation.
• Monitor range, stock and margin performance to identify opportunities and take action.
• Use customer insights, competitor activity and market trends to inform range decisions.
• Work collaboratively across Sales, Marketing and Operations to support product availability and growth.

About You

• Experience in product management, category management or a similar commercially focused role.
• Strong supplier-management, sourcing and negotiation skills.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to analyse sales, stock and financial data.
• Technical product knowledge relevant to the portfolio, or the ability to quickly build it.
• A customer-focused and analytical approach to identifying market opportunities.
• Highly organised, collaborative and confident communicating with a range of stakeholders.
