As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is onsite in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research on key industry competitors to analyze product portfolios, pricing strategies, value propositions, and identify portfolio gaps and opportunities relative to product offerings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Applications Engineering, and Technical Support teams to update and maintain product documentation, including user manuals, quick-start guides, firmware release documentation, and technical reference materials.
• Assist in the development and revision of customer-facing and internal technical documentation to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with product updates.
• Provide tactical project support for new product launches, including the creation and coordination of marketing collateral, sales enablement materials, and product communications.
• Contribute to ongoing product management initiatives by supporting cross-functional projects, conducting research, and assisting with operational and strategic product activities as needed.
• Gain exposure to the full product lifecycle while working closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and support stakeholders to help drive successful product outcomes.

Qualifications for the role:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in the United States.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

The hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications, graduation year and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
