Position Overview:

The Product Lines Sales Specialist develops, executes, and manages PG&A sales programs designed to strengthen dealer engagement, retail sell-through, wholesale growth, and overall business performance. Connecting the business unit with field sales, Sales Operations, Dealer Development, and dealers, this role aligns priorities and supports annual and quarterly business objectives.

You will translate market, dealer, competitive, and sales data into clear recommendations and practical actions for field teams and dealers. This position offers meaningful ownership of sales programs and the opportunity to influence dealer execution, planning, and product line performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales Operations and business unit leaders to establish wholesale and retail goals, develop forecasts, track performance, and recommend adjustments based on results.

  • Analyze sales performance, dealer adoption, inventory position, market conditions, and competitive programs to identify risks, opportunities, and priorities.

  • Monitor competitor promotions and market activity, recommending actions that maintain competitiveness and protect business performance.

  • Create clear communications and enablement materials that help field sales teams and dealers understand priorities, program details, required actions, and expected outcomes.

  • Gather feedback from dealers and field sales teams and translate it into actionable input for product, marketing, sales, and planning decisions.

  • Support dealer engagement strategies, sales meetings, product line planning, annual business planning, and product launch or go-to-market activities.

Desired Competencies:

  • Business Acumen: You understand how your work impacts financial performance, operational efficiency, and organizational goals, and you make decisions with the broader business context in mind.

  • Communication: You clearly convey information, ideas, and expectations to diverse audiences, adjusting your message to ensure understanding and alignment.

  • Data & Analytical Literacy: You interpret data, metrics, or reporting to inform decisions, identify trends, and measure outcomes relevant to your role.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, channel management, dealer operations, product line support, or a related commercial role.

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect sales strategy, dealer execution, inventory, programs, and business results.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data, market trends, competitive activity, and program performance and develop clear recommendations.

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to develop field-ready materials, explain priorities, and influence cross-functional partners without direct authority.

  • Experience managing projects or programs through planning, execution, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.

  • Experience in powersports, automotive, outdoor recreation, retail, dealer, or franchise-based sales environments is preferred.

  • Experience using Excel, Power BI, CRM tools, or similar reporting platforms to evaluate performance and communicate insights is preferred.
