Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Manufacturability / Producibility practices specific to Metal/Plastic machining, and sheet metal commodity

• Understanding of other commodity types including Gas Line Weldments, Cables, and Ceramics

• Learn how to utilize aPriori to perform technical calculations on individual BTP parts and assemblies. Calculating a fair and acceptable price and lead times for both Applied Materials and our Suppliers

• Identify manufacturability improvements and corrections and present these to the DE’s

• Understanding of GD&T standards for proper application. Able to explain to suppliers how to interpret.

• Good communication skills to work with cross functional teams like Materials/Mfg./Quality/Suppliers are a must. 

• Run true-up negotiations to provide detail and support with pricing/lead time negotiations; think on your feet, be able to talk to parts

• Detail orientation/analytical methodology

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
