We’re looking for a Procurement Manager – Lens Care to join ZEISS Global Lens Care in Taiwan, in an office-based role.

Your Role

As Procurement Manager – Lens Care, you will oversee end-to-end sourcing, supplier management and value delivery to ensure the availability of safe, compliant and cost-efficient lens care products. You will develop category strategies, build strong supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement across procurement, quality, cost and supply chain performance.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will help ensure supply continuity, optimise inventory, manage supplier risk and support product launches, while contributing to sustainability initiatives and the long-term success of ZEISS Global Consumer Eyecare.

The role of Procurement Manager – Lens Care will involve:

Establish strong supplier relationships, conduct regular performance reviews, and oversee supplier onboarding and due diligence, including compliance, quality assurance and environmental, social and governance (ESG) requirements where applicable.

• Sourcing and contracting: Develop and implement category strategies for lens care products, negotiate contracts, pricing, lead times and payment terms, and proactively manage supplier risks relating to capacity, continuity, geopolitical factors and regulatory requirements.

• Demand planning and inventory management: Collaborate with Demand and Supply Planning teams to forecast requirements, optimise inventory and safety stock levels, and align supplier capacity with product launches and artwork changes.

• Quality and compliance: Ensure suppliers meet relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements, coordinate supplier audits and key customer test programmes, and maintain batch and lot traceability for safety-critical ingredients.

• Cost and value management: Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities and total cost of ownership improvements through initiatives such as vendor-managed inventory (VMI), packaging optimisation and alternative materials.

• Logistics and operations: Work closely with the Asia Service Desk and internal teams to coordinate logistics, supplier lead times and warehousing. Manage import and export documentation and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

• Data, reporting and governance: Maintain accurate procurement data within relevant systems, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost savings, on-time delivery and supplier lead times, and prepare reports on procurement performance and risks for leadership.

• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Research and Development (R&D), Quality Assurance (QA), Regulatory, Manufacturing and Commercial teams to support business priorities, product launches and sustainability initiatives.

Your Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring practical procurement experience, strong supplier management capabilities and the ability to work collaboratively across functions and markets.

Essential criteria:

• At least five years of experience in a procurement role.
