The Process Validation Engineering Co-op is responsible for supporting process validation activities across the biologics manufacturing lifecycle, including process design, process qualification, and continued process verification.

This position reports to the Manager, Process Validation and is part of the Technical Operations team located in Fargo, North Dakota and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Support the development, execution, and reporting of process validation activities for biologics manufacturing processes.
• Participate in ancillary validation studies including aseptic process simulations (APS/media fills), equipment performance qualifications (PQ), cleaning validation studies, hold-time studies, container closure integrity testing (CCIT), and other GMP qualification and validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT), Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs to execute validation deliverables.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related STEM discipline.
• Ability to interpret technical data and apply scientific principles to engineering and manufacturing challenges within a regulated environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move or carry items up to 10lb.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Exposure to GMP-regulated environments, process validation, equipment qualification, media fills (APS), CCIT, cleaning validation, or process monitoring activities.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools such as JMP or Minitab.
• Following cellular process steps within a lab under GLPs.

The hourly rate for this role is $30.00. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of compensation for this role at the time of this posting
