What will your day-to-day look like?
- Act as a technical expert (Subject Matter Expert SME) for the Torque Management System (TMS) across all assembly sites.
- Manage the inventory of TMS controllers and tools. Ensure systems are updated to the latest version and track the number of licenses.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices, documentation, and the creation of "Cookbooks" (guides) for TMS systems.
- Collaborate with TMS governance and support the long-term vision.
- Manage multiple initiatives for continuous improvement of integration systems such as TMS, induction heating, and others.
- Serve as the point of contact for TMS Andon systems. Monitor performance indicators (quality, productivity, efficiency, etc.) and apply appropriate measures and solutions.
- Participate in and conduct TMS testing through to production implementation.
- Perform various other tasks as required.
What do you need to succeed?
- 2 years or more of relevant experience in IT systems
- Technical knowledge of torque systems will be an asset
- Mechanical Engineering will be an asset
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and projects
- Ability to solve IT problems, including debugging of systems
- Ability to develop strong relationships with all internal and external teams
- Decision-making and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and act as a change agent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to handle high pressure and prioritize multiple requests in an ultra-dynamic environment
- Adaptability, autonomy, and a positive attitude
