We are seeking a Process Industrial Engineer (PIE) who is passionate about Lean Manufacturing, automation, and operational excellence. This position plays a critical role in improving manufacturing performance by driving process improvements, implementing advanced automation solutions, optimizing production systems, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

What You'll Do

Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on improving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost across manufacturing operations.

Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, eliminate waste, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance.

Analyze production processes and workflows using time studies, labor utilization analysis, line balancing, and capacity planning to improve throughput and resource utilization.

Drive automation and manufacturing technology initiatives, supporting equipment selection, implementation, validation, and continuous optimization to improve productivity, quality, ergonomics, and safety.

Optimize factory layouts, material flow, and workstation design to maximize space utilization, improve workflow, and support future growth.

Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement activities while utilizing Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, OEE, A3 Problem Solving, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis.

Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to solve manufacturing challenges and implement sustainable process improvements.

Lead and support cross-functional projects focused on operational excellence, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and strategic manufacturing initiatives.

Support new product introductions (NPI) by developing manufacturing processes, evaluating production readiness, and ensuring successful launches into production.

Develop standard work, process documentation, and training materials while helping build a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success leading process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
- Experience conducting time studies, workflow analysis, and manufacturing optimization projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification; Black Belt is a plus.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting new product introductions and capital equipment implementation.
- Experience with ERP, MRP, or MES systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, or facility layout software.
- Global manufacturing experience.
