The Role:
Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
In this role, you will aid the process engineer in driving process improvements, maintaining SOPs and training, and supporting the day-to-day troubleshooting and work on the line. Typical improvement efforts will improve quality, drive down cost and/or increase output.
What You’ll Do:
Develop plan for updating SOPs as needed
Data mining and analysis in Minitab
Make conclusions recommendations based on data analysis
Perform yield analysis
Participate in Gemba walks and look for lean and safety improvements
Perform membrane characterization testing
What We Seek:
Data-driven and hands-on approach
Proficient in Excel
Ability to complete tasks in timely manner
Desired Major(s):
Working towards a degree in chemical, mechanical or similar engineering
Eligibility:
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program

Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
