The Opportunity:

What we’re looking for: 

Education: BS Degree in Chemical engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical engineering, or other engineering fields.

Experience: 0- 2 years preferred.

• Chemical process experience & experience interpreting P&IDs desired.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and process safety.
• Chemical engineering or mechanical engineering preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

• Data analytics.
• Microsoft Power BI software experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality.
• Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Word and Excel.

How you will thrive and create an impact: 

• Work with manufacturing teams to provide technical guidance on processes, equipment operating procedures, and manufacturing procedures.
• Troubleshoot process issues and help resolve them or escalate as needed.
• Investigate non-conforming batches using root cause analysis and provide corrective and preventive actions.
• Work with process engineers to set up manufacturing area and testing equipment for new process technology transfer.
• Provide safety guidance for the work area, including resolving safety concerns, managing process change, leading pre-startup safety reviews, and following safe work practices.
• Learn the process, help improve manufacturing procedures, and train employees.
• Assist with pilot batches and process improvements.
