Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineer, located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Responsible for the design, development, validation, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing tooling and machining processes supporting electronics and mechanical manufacturing operations. This position requires strong technical knowledge in CNC machining, CAD/CAM systems, material selection, fixture design, and manufacturing process optimization to support production, NPI, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

What a typical day looks like:

• Design and develop manufacturing fixtures, tooling, and production aids from concept through production release.
• Create and modify CAD models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Generate and optimize CAM programs for CNC machining operations.
• Support machining processes including milling, turning, drilling, routing, and secondary operations.
• Evaluate and select materials based on mechanical properties, manufacturability, durability, cost, and application requirements.
• Lead process validation and qualification activities for new tooling and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, preventive maintenance plans, and tooling specifications.
• Interface with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Automation, Production, and Suppliers during development and implementation phases.
• Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for tooling and process-related issues.
• Identify and execute cost reduction, productivity, quality, and capacity improvement projects.
• Support NPI builds, prototype tooling development, and production transfers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, ergonomic, and environmental requirements.
