Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Functional:

This profile outlines the essential components necessary for a successful project manager in the wealth management sector, leading up technological innovation, process efficiency and change management.

Position the bank as a leader in the wealth and private banking space through innovative digital solutions and strategic partnerships. Achieve improved customer satisfaction and engagement through enhanced platform functionality and user-friendly experiences. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations while driving platform growth and innovation.

Understand business objective and processes, develop functional specification document and solution. Exhibit teamwork and having strong analytic skills as well as holds good solutioning skills. Able to work independently to run the digital workstream as well as potentially manage a small team of testers.

Analyze business product and processes, crafting out the business requirement and to provide functional and technical solutions to help achieve business targets as the digital product owner.

Platform Innovation

o   Lead the evolution of the digital wealth and private banking platform

o   Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to explore new technologies and methodologies.

o   Develop, review and implement business needs, product and project requirement into functional and technical specification process and document.

Product Development

o   Collaborate with investment advisors, private bankers, product teams, operations and technology teams to enhance and diversify platform offerings continuously.

o   Gather and analyze user feedback to guide product improvements and innovations.

o   Engage, work closely and act as point of reference with subject matter of experts and project stakeholders.

Technology Integration

o   Partner with Technology and collaborate with strategic partners to implement next-generation digital wealth management solutions.

o   Ensure technological advancements meet user needs and support operational efficiency.

o   Undertake impact assessment on existing products, Business as Usual (BAU) process, and future enhancement and work with stakeholders to implement changes.

Regulatory Compliance

o   Ensure the platform adheres to all regulatory requirements and risk management standards in key markets, particularly in Malaysia, Singapore.

o   Stay updated on regulatory changes and adapt strategies as necessary.

Stakeholder Management

o   Engage effectively with senior leadership, external partners, and key stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and cultivate partnerships within the wealth and private banking ecosystem.

o   Communicate clearly and regularly about platform progress, updates, and challenges while fostering an environment of collaboration.

Education/Qualification:
Degree in Business Admin / Banking Finance / Accounting / Economics

Experience:

o   7-9 years in wealth management, private banking, digital banking, or financial technology with a proven track record in platform development and project management, including management of test planning and execution.

o   Strong knowledge of Wealth products and workflows is a must.

o   Excellent understanding wealth management services, investment advisory, and financial planning lifecycle and solutions

o    Certified Scrum Master is an advantage.

o   Good analytic and problem-solving skills to identify problems and propose solution

o   Good understanding on automation technologies and capabilities

o   Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills liaise with both internal and external stakeholders

o   Good attention to details

o   Proactive team player

o   Ability to work independently operating in self-directed capacity

o   Able to multi-task effectively and efficiently

o   Good command of English.
