Principal, Tech Executive Recruiter

Summary: Join Coupang as a Principal, Tech Executive Recruiter, and play a critical role in identifying and hiring the next generation of technology leaders. This role requires partnering with senior executives across various geographies to build world-class talent pipelines and drive best recruitment practices.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior internal customers to understand their hiring needs.
• Devise and carry out a targeted global search strategy.
• Build global executive talent pipelines through direct sourcing.
• Drive recruitment intelligence using our internal CRM platform.
• Attract top-tier technical talent to South Korea, Singapore, India and US with tenacity and determination.
• Present an exceptional company pitch to potential candidates.
• Assess candidates for qualification match, cultural fit, and compatibility.
• Influence at the offer stage, articulating Coupang’s career vision and compensation philosophy.
• Partner with the Global Mobility Team to facilitate candidate relocation.
• Enhance the overall recruitment process and implement best practices organization-wide.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting.
• Experience working in a tier-1 internet company or high-growth challenger brand.
• Agency experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Analytical thinker adept in a global, fast-paced, data-driven, and entrepreneurial culture.
• Proven sound business judgment with the ability to communicate and influence effectively, including at the executive level.
• Capability to think strategically while managing tactical execution in an agile environment.
