The PSE Strategy Program Manager drives strategic initiatives that directly enable high‑quality, scalable engineering execution in alignment with the product roadmap. This role focuses on ensuring that Product & Systems Engineering (PSE) has the right strategic clarity, domain enablement, and execution frameworks to deliver against increasingly complex and fast‑moving product priorities.
 

A key aspect of the role is owning and driving the AI strategy within PSE, leveraging AI and aligning engineering use cases and delivery with the broader TPG AI strategy. The Program Manager identifies where AI and emerging tools can meaningfully accelerate engineering workflows, decision‑making, and product delivery, and drives disciplined execution across multiple initiatives to maximize impact on roadmap outcomes.

Operating at the intersection of engineering strategy and execution, this role translates product and technology direction into structured programs, clear priorities, and measurable success indicators. The ideal candidate partners closely with engineering leaders to enable improved execution at scale and provide executive‑level insight that helps leadership make informed tradeoffs, ultimately strengthening PSE’s ability to deliver on the roadmap with speed, quality, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

PSE Strategy

• Define and execute PSE strategy by aligning organizational growth with the product roadmap, while identifying global scaling needs, closing capability gaps, and optimizing team structures across PSE.
• Domain & capability growth: Lead strategic programs that strengthen PSE domain expertise, cross‑functional alignment, and organizational effectiveness from concept through execution.
• Strategically manage AI roadmap within PSE, aligning goals and execution with broader TPG AI strategy. Ensure cohesive delivery, strong governance, and measurable impact in support of enterprise AI objectives across multiple AI initiatives.
• AI deployment & future of work: Drive adoption of AI‑enabled tools and new ways of working to prepare PSE for evolving roles, skills, and operating models.
• Establish KPIs and success metrics that measure organizational impact, adoption, and business outcomes.
• Partner with PSE leaders to equip managers with scalable structures, tools, and processes—leveraging standardization, automation, and AI‑assisted decision support—to grow teams and improve end‑to‑end organizational effectiveness.
• Build executive-ready progress updates and recommendations that inform leadership decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Program Management, Strategy, Organizational Effectiveness, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in program management, strategy execution, or organizational/business operations roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading large, cross-functional strategy programs at scale.
• Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and influence across global, matrixed organizations.
• Strong understanding of how complex organizations operate, scale, and deliver results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading organizational, or business strategy programs within a technical or engineering organization.
• Background in business operations, chief-of-staff functions, strategic planning, or large-scale program management.
• Exposure to AI, automation, or digital transformation programs and their impact on how organizations work.
• Familiarity with product development environments (semiconductor, hardware, or complex systems is a plus).
• Strong data mindset with experience defining and tracking KPIs tied to organizational outcomes and business impact.
