Summary:

The Global Supply Chain Lead will define and execute Ada’s global procurement and supply chain strategy in support of its data center development platform. This role is accountable for building and scaling a globally coordinated procurement function, including systems, processes, governance, and team structures required to support multi-region growth.

This position oversees global sourcing strategy, supplier partnerships, procurement governance, and supply chain risk management. The position provides both strategic leadership and operational oversight across global procurement, long-lead material planning, vendor qualification, and commercial negotiations. In this role, you will partner with leadership, legal, project controls and regional delivery teams to ensure materials and equipment are aligned with construction schedules, cost targets, and technical requirements, while building the platforms and processes that enable consistent execution globally.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a globally coordinated procurement operating model, including systems, tools, and scalable processes

  • Build, manage, and develop a high-performing global supply chain team, including internal resources and third-party support

  • Establish and maintain global procurement governance, policies, and controls to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance

  • Own global procurement commercial outcomes, including pricing strategy, contract structures, and terms and conditions

  • Partner with Design and Product teams to align specifications, technical standards, and procurement strategies to optimize speed to market

  • Collaborate with Finance and Project Controls on capital forecasting, cash flow planning, budget alignment, and variance analysis

  • Oversee long-lead equipment planning, including manufacturing slot management, logistics sequencing, and delivery coordination

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including market constraints, capacity limitations, geopolitical factors, and logistics challenges

  • Support regional teams in project execution through procurement frameworks, vendor coordination, submittal support, factory testing, delivery tracking, and commissioning support

  • Partner with Legal on contract structures including GPAs, MSAs, and Statements of Work

  • Drive continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned across campuses, regions, and project phases

  • Provide regular executive-level reporting on vendor performance, market dynamics, risks, and opportunities

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered

  • 12+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing within capital-intensive industries

  • Demonstrated experience leading procurement for mission-critical or data center infrastructure preferred

  • Proven success building and managing global teams and scaling procurement functions across multiple regions

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and risk management

  • Deep understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment supply chains and long-lead procurement dynamics
