The Students & Grads team builds Capital One’s pipeline of top junior talent by delivering programs that communicate our innovation and impact while developing outstanding associates at the start of their careers. The Principal Coordinator plays an integral role in the recruiting process by supporting recruiting partners in ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the candidate lifecycle.

We are looking for an exceptional teammate to support operational delivery initiatives for the Students & Grads Recruiting Operations team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong administrative, organization, and communication skills, laser customer focus, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Partner on a daily basis with Student & Grads recruiters to provide coordination support
• Deliver systems based recruiting management for our Students & Grads recruiting teams, including requisition management, shared mailbox support, and offer creation
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the enterprise
• Support system-based remediation efforts and monitor issues occurring throughout the recruiting funnel
• Support ongoing efforts of data proficiency for the Horizontal Services/Operations teams
• Assist with preparing and distributing ad-hoc reporting, data pulls
• Assist in ad hoc team projects and programs, including assessment administration and triage

This role is designated as a hybrid position. You are expected to adhere to Capital One's hybrid policy regarding required on-site presence at your designated office location.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• At least 2 years of experience in a coordinator role or at least 2 years of experience in an administrative role

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in Google Suite products
• At least 2 years of project management experience
• At least 2 years of process management experience
• Experience interpreting metrics, trends, and survey data to support decisions
• At least 2 years of full life cycle recruitment experience with full lifecycle recruiting

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $62,500 - $71,300 for Principal HR Coordinator

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
