Job Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Analyzes internal and external customers' needs and identifies problems and/or enhancements,.

In the majority of cases, this involves the analysis of financial and pricing information contained in excel models and/or online pricing systems and databases.

• Tests updates made to Pricing Tool assumptions and algorithms and identifies required changes in collaboration with the other members of the Pricing team and other concerned individuals within the business.

• Corrects errors in the assigned Pricing tools, and formulates changes as required for adapting or enhancing existing models to facilitate customized solutions for strategic customers or unique operational models.

• Collaborates and troubleshoots technical issues with the IT group and 3rd party system developers and technical specialists.

• Prepares and updates user instructions and training materials.

• Collaborates with Finance and Accounting to ensure timely updates to data such as rate cards, foreign exchange rates, pass-through costs, inflation profiles, and other core information

• Communicates departmental processes, ensuring adequate training is available and that processes are in compliance with corporate policies and local regulations.

• Supports assigned work streams associated with the ongoing support, improvement, and continued utilization of the Company’s Pricing Systems.

• Tracks and manages assigned workload including delivery to timelines, tracking action items, and other activities as needed.

Years of experience required

1 to 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or CRO industry or ability to prove comparable experience

in related field of study

Additional Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent in a business or health-related degree or equivalent education and

experience.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint),

email, and voicemail, including advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Above-average attention to detail, effective oral/written communication skills and problem-solving

skills along with highly-developed interpersonal and strong team-orientated skills. Ability to work

independently to meet deadlines.

• Good analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills with ability to perform several tasks

simultaneously and the ability to work independently and flexibly to meet deadlines.

• Experience in Financial, Pricing and/or Business Analysis.

• Although travel is rarely required, national or international travel may be required 2-3 times per

year
