Job Description
Ensures the availability, reliability, and safe operation of the Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems within the power generation plant by leading maintenance activities and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all I&C maintenance activities during planned outages, forced shutdowns, and major overhauls of the power plant.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to execute maintenance, troubleshooting, and system improvement projects.
- Define manpower, tools, equipment, and spare parts requirements for maintenance activities.
- Ensure the effective implementation of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs, including instrument calibration and functional testing.
- Investigate technical incidents, equipment failures, and forced outages related to I&C systems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Provide technical support during plant start-up, shutdown, and load change operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the I&C maintenance team, ensuring high technical standards and continuous professional development.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, OEM recommendations, and applicable regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, plant availability, and maintenance efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Automation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) within the power generation industry, preferably in Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plants.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of industrial instrumentation, control systems, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Strong understanding of maintenance strategies, reliability engineering, and plant operations.
- Excellent knowledge of safe working procedures in electrical and control system environments.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
