What You’ll Be Part Of

As Maintenance Technician Molding & Equipment, you will help ensure the operational availability of molding equipment and machinery by executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. You will support equipment performance, process optimization, and safe operations in a manufacturing environment.

Your Team

You will work with Maintenance, Molding, Operations, EHSS, Quality, suppliers, and other cross-functional shop floor teams.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Participate in the development, scheduling, and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Monitor plant KPIs including OEE, downtime, availability, scrap, MTTR, and MTBF.
• Provide shop floor services and technical support in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Perform root cause analysis for failures and support improvement actions.
• Supervise technical services and validate completed work.
• Ensure work is performed with high quality and in accordance with safety requirements.
• Coordinate required work permits for installation suppliers and ensure safe execution of supplier activities.
• Respond to emergency calls through communication equipment or verbal notification.
• Report daily completed and pending work to the supervisor.
• Identify and report risk situations related to building or equipment conditions.
• Anticipate spare parts needs for equipment under responsibility and follow up on material purchase requisitions.
• Conduct routine tours to review building and equipment conditions.
• Complete preventive maintenance for assigned building and equipment systems on time.
• Participate in and support quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets, and programs.

What Makes You A Strong Fit

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in molding and welding processes.
• Experience in a manufacturing industry environment.
• Knowledge of plumbing and building equipment support activities.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical and electronic schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience with molding machines from 250T to 2000T.
• Experience programming and maintaining 3-axis and 6-axis robots.
• Experience with chillers and water treatment systems.
• Technical career or partially completed engineering studies in Mechanics, Electromechanics, Electrical, or Molding-related fields.
• Demonstrates leadership, integrity, innovation, inclusion, teamwork, respect, and excellence.

Bonus Points if You Have 

• Knowledge of medium voltage, electrical installations, and pneumatics.
• Knowledge of plastic resins such as PC, PP, and PMMA.
• Knowledge of PLC systems.
• Knowledge of dryer systems for plastics.
• Knowledge of molding machine LOTO and safety procedures.
• Experience supporting PTM implementation.
• Knowledge of molding machine brands such as Engel, Haitian, and Negri Bossi.

• This role is based in a manufacturing environment and requires close collaboration with Maintenance, Molding, Operations, EHSS, Quality, and supplier teams.
• Willingness to travel may be required.
• Willingness to work in an office, manufacturing facility, or client-site environment may be required based on business needs.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
• If the position requires use of a HARMAN or customer-owned vehicle, employment may be contingent upon meeting applicable driving record requirements.
