BGS is excited to find a Plans and Schedules P&S - Maintenance Controller (Acft Maint Control) to assist in our maintenance efforts at Al Udeid AFB, Qatar.

Position Overview  

Plans, manages, and implements maintenance, modification, retrofit, and repair solutions for aircraft, components, support equipment, and enterprise products—ensuring compliance while coordinating engineering, work packages, tooling, materials, and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages, plans, research, and designs retrofit and repair solutions meeting customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

• Defines procedures, special engineering, tooling, kits, work packages, and material requirements for inspections, modifications, and repairs.

• Plans, organizes, and controls maintenance and repair of aircraft, components, and support equipment.

• Leads project development, planning, implementation, and technical support for maintenance and modifications.

Leadership & Team Oversight

• Drives workforce planning, skills development, performance management, and technical coaching.

• Manages manning requirements and fosters accountability and continuous improvement.

Project Planning & Execution

• Translates customer, program, and regulatory requirements into executable maintenance and repair plans.

• Develop schedules, resource plans, work packages, and material requirements for assigned projects.

• Coordinates with engineering, quality, supply chain, and customer representatives for timely accomplishment.

• Monitors progress, identifies risks, and implements corrective actions to hold schedule and quality.

Quality, Documentation & Compliance

• Ensures all activities comply with customer, regulatory, technical, and company standards.

• Leads root cause analysis, process improvement, and corrective action to reduce repeat defects.

• Documents and dispositions of maintenance data in approved records and systems.

This position requires the ability to obtain the US Security Clearance from the US Government.

Basic Qualifications:

• Applicable education to generate & maintain planning and Scheduling.

• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualification:

• Military or vocational school related to discipline or equivalent.

Typical Education/Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent

• combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

• Candidates must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.

• Candidates must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.

• Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.

This vacancy is for an international, locally hired position in Al Udeid, Qatar. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable local law.
