Location: Edison, NJ
Salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience, plus full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Patient Schedule: Approximately 1–2 patients per hour
Setting: Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapy Office
About the Role
We are hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time orthopedic outpatient position in Edison, New Jersey. This role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, strength, function, and overall movement following injury, surgery, or musculoskeletal conditions.
You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based physical therapy, and track progress throughout the rehabilitation process. The schedule allows you to work with approximately 1–2 patients per hour in an established outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
- Provide therapeutic exercise, mobility training, functional rehabilitation, and other appropriate PT interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when needed
- Educate patients on exercises, movement strategies, injury prevention, and home programs
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support patients through return-to-work, daily activity, sport, or other functional goals
Requirements
- Current Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) degree
- Previous outpatient physical therapy experience
- Strong orthopedic assessment and treatment skills
- Ability to manage a consistent outpatient patient schedule
