Role Objective:
Own performance marketing initiatives for Paytm's consumer businesses with a focus on incremental user growth, transaction growth and efficient CAC/CPT across acquisition and reactivation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own performance marketing strategy and execution across Google, Meta, OEM/DSP and emerging digital channels.
- Manage the consumer funnel across App Install → Signup/Login → First Transaction → Repeat/Reactivate.
- Translate business objectives into channel strategy, budgets, audience architecture, bidding and optimization frameworks.
- Drive improvement in CAC/CPI/CPT, conversion rates, scale and incremental contribution.
- Identify growth opportunities across UPI, Recharge & Utilities, Travel and other Paytm consumer businesses through user, geography, cohort and funnel-level analysis.
- Lead experimentation across audiences, creatives, campaign structures, bidding/optimization events, geographies and new platforms.
- Work closely with Analytics, Product, Business, Creative and Martech teams to improve measurement, attribution and campaign effectiveness.
- Develop strong understanding of incrementality, attribution and user quality, rather than optimizing purely towards platform-reported conversions.
- Leverage platforms such as AppsFlyer, Firebase, GA4, BigQuery and internal analytics tools to identify opportunities and drive decisions.
- Evaluate new performance channels, OEM partnerships and emerging ad products.
- Own performance reporting and communicate key insights, opportunities and risks to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure strong governance on budgets, pacing, measurement and marketing efficiency.
Requirement:
- 3–5 years of experience in performance marketing, preferably in fintech, consumer internet, e-commerce or high-scale app businesses.
- Strong hands-on experience across Google Ads and Meta; exposure to DSP/OEM/app-growth ecosystems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of app acquisition, re-engagement, attribution and full-funnel optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions.
- Experience independently managing budgets and delivering measurable growth.
- Strong commercial mindset with an understanding of the trade-off between scale, efficiency and user quality.
- High ownership and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
