GenesisCare has an opportunity for a Patient Services Officer (Medical Administration) to join our supportive Albury clinic on a permanent full time basis.

As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming, calm and supportive experience throughout their journey. You will work closely with our clinical team to help keep the clinic running smoothly and ensure patients feel supported from the moment they arrive.

This is a busy and varied role where no two days are quite the same. You will be part of a close knit team, balancing patient support with a range of reception and administrative responsibilities.

You do not need to come from a healthcare background to make an impact in this role. If you are organised, adaptable and passionate about helping people, we would love to hear from you.

More specifically, you will:

• Provide day to day administrative support to the radiation oncology clinical team
• Book and manage patient appointments for consultations and treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records across clinical and administrative systems
• Assist with billing, receipting and payment processing
• Respond to phone and email enquiries with professionalism and care
• Help keep the clinic running smoothly by managing changing priorities and day to day administrative needs

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A genuine passion for patient care and delivering great customer service
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
• A professional, calm and empathetic approach when supporting patients
• Confidence working independently while being an active part of a close knit team
• Strong attention to detail and confidence learning new systems
• Experience in medical reception or Medicare billing is highly regarded, but not essential
