Baystate Health is seeking multiple Patient Service Representatives to join our Outpatient Behavioral Health Team in Springfield, Massachusetts. The location primarily houses outpatient programs focused on pediatric care, family advocacy and youth behavioral health.
The Patient Service Representative role offers the opportunity to provide front line administrative and customer service support while supporting patients, medical staff and insurance providers.
The Patient Service Representative Will:
- Check-in/check-out: greeting patients, validating demographics, collecting co-pays
- Verify insurance: checking and confirming coverage eligibility
- Communicate: managing multi-line phone system, routing calls, faxing medical documents
- Manage data: utilizing scheduling systems, updating medical records, responding to and routing messages
Schedule Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 10am-6:30p
- Schedule: M – Fri; NO Weekends/NO Holidays

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
